About Us

BVRR Specialties serves the storage needs of all No. 1 Gauge (45mm) railroaders. The
owner of the company has over 35 years experience in the storage products industry. One
day, while putting away his No. 1 gauge trains, he thought... "there's got to be a better way!"
It took a lot of fun (and time) out of "playing with trains" in order to put everything away after
an operating session, not to mention the inevitability of damage. He constructed a system
(see photo) that is now available to everyone.

garden railroad in my back yard in Levittown, PA. Although only about 20' by 10', it does
provide a lot of interest... and fun! The railroad is primarily 1:20 scale with some 1:225
equipment as well. Track is mostly Aristocraft with a bit of LGB.

Rolling stock consists of a mix of Accucraft, USA Trains, LGB, Bachmann and Aristocraft.
We have one live steam engine, an Accucraft "Ruby" that is currently being upgraded to
R/C. The other engines are all Bachmann which I hope to convert to battery power. You

BVRR is proud to have supported, along with the Bristol Railroad Society, Gilda's Club in
SE Pennsylvania by way of helping to construct a garden railroad for families having been
